Designed for single-track MIDI with up to 8-note polyphony.
Polyphonic notes are spread across M8 tracks T1–T8.
Each chain = 4 bars by default.
All phrases default to instrument 00 (MACROSYN).
Notes beyond 8-voice polyphony are dropped based on note-order preference.
KIL commands are written automatically on note-off.
Phrase FE is always a blank spacer phrase — do not overwrite it.
Chain FE is always a blank spacer chain (4x phrase FE) — do not overwrite it.
Phrase FD is always a KIL phrase (kills note at step 0, then silence) — do not overwrite it.
Chain FD is always a KIL chain (phrase FD + 3x phrase FE) — do not overwrite it.
Use the Song Row Offset to leave blank rows before the song starts.
Change Bars Per Chain to control how many bars fit in each chain (affects song length vs chain count).
